Okay, so it definitely is not on the same level as Harry Potter or LOTR, but I did enjoy reading Tunnels.  It is a bit predictable, but I also think it had some surprises that I had not expected.  I liked the current day setting and the curiosity of the main character, Will, to explore the tunnels beneath London, which take him to a bizarre underworld.  I thought the details of this world were very intriguing and I found myself wanting Will to explore more of the city.  I do plan on reading the next book, Deeper, eventually to see what other strange characters Will encounters. I give Tunnels three Wyveries.
