Being a gamer geek, I really wanted this film to work, but it insulted my intelligence and insulted me as a gamer.

The main characters are middle aged losers, with no social skills, no love lives, who act like over grown 13 year olds.  It turns out that they have been playing the same DND (Daemons, Nymphs, Dragons) every weekend for 23years.

Frankly, I’m getting pretty damn sick of the stereotype.  Sure there are some (a minority) game players like that out there, but most of the gamers that I know (including myself) do not even begin to fit into that offensive cliché.

The jokes in Gamers are quit juvenile, and full of anti-gay, ant-black, sexual and bodily function innuendo.  The story line includes an insane aggressive parrot, swinging and horse masturbation…yes, you read it right…horse masturbation!

There is a whole story line about a African American dwarf and a white (KKK) sheet that, like most of the film, is just plain stupid and is absolutely not the least bit funny.

Don’t waste you time.  As far as I’m concerned, Gamers rolled a one, one Wyverie that is.
